It is so easy to write on Medium, the layout is simple
Hello, my WordPress friends.
I have truly missed you all.
It has been an absolute treasure and a pleasure to get to know you all.
I have been missing of late off the platform and here are the reasons why: —
- Since the format change I don’t like writing on it as much, so I had been writing on Medium and then copying them over onto WP.
- I began writing on Medium in May of 2020 and really loved the platform and its ease of use.
- Though it is a paying platform, I did not envision getting rich there. I still don’t. But the ease of use was a really big plus for me.
- I had taken a ‘pause’ then I returned in June and the Medium Platform has been getting a lot of my time and attention.
Recently Medium introduced an affiliate link so if anyone is interested in joining, see my link here and at the bottom of the page.
There is a $50 yearly membership fee to join Medium as well as a free membership, you get to choose.
I have a paid membership as it gives me unlimited reads to the numerous and great writings on the platform.
Though I will always return to WP from time to time, I find myself here more and more, so I think I will hang here for a while.
I recently began my own publication called Our Souls in Words, I intend for it to be a place where the soul words find flight.
I do hope you come by and visit and I promise to always come by WP to visit too, I will not completely abandon my blog.
I do hope you come by for a visit.

This is all very interesting about your new site on Medium. Very professional. And I see you get a lot of responses. Congratulations. I too have been thinking of quitting WordPress because of the annoying difficulties of the Block Editor that has been forced upon users — bad move on their part since no one seems to like working those damn blocks.
Come on over to give it a try, very simple to use.
So, I went to your new site on Medium, and it looks like only people who have medium accounts can like or comment. Is that correct?
Is there a way you can post a link on this blog each time you post on medium so we can go check it out and then comment or like it here?
As a non-paying member you are limited in the amount you can read each day, buy I can post the friend link.
Thank you for your interest.
Thank you, Pené!
I just followed you there. I’m starting to post there more myself.
What is your Medium link.
So far it’s mostly stuff I’ve also posted here
I used to write on Medium for a bit, and got a bit of pocket change too. Unfortunately, there are a lot of things you don’t own, and should the website go down someday, you won’t be able to port your own backup elsewhere, which is a good thing you also put up your work here. Anyway, thanks for this post!
I have heard many great things about medium and it’s ease of use. I might just have to check it out starting with yours, Pene.
What is your medium link, so I can follow and read?
Always nice to read your posts but I completely understand the change. The block editor is an unnecessary pain in the neck.
All the best to you with the new site!
Thank you, I will still be here in some capacity. WP is my first love.
That’s really great. And nice idea you have on, on Medium. ❤️👍🏻
Hope to have you here, soon. 😊
Take care sis. Happy new week.
