Last week the children and I decided to take a drive to Fossil Rim Wildlife CenterΒ  in Texas … it was a lot of fun. It was drive through and not too many persons about.

We were advised to feed the giraffes by hand which the children did and loved it … they do slobber a lot. I was chicken and did not feed them, lol.

They are tall, graceful and beautiful creatures.

I am not the best videographer, I will have to do better in this regard.

The park was lovely in its natural state and we enjoyed the trip very much.

All in all we had a great day with lots of fun. My daughter and her friend were along for the ride, but did not want their faces on the blog, so no pics of them.

Have a blessed and safe day everyone.

  2. What a fantastic day. You have nice kids and I bet this day will be one they always remember. Giraffe tongues are very memorable, I remember feeding them and they are gentle animals.
